Rhys is a recent graduate of USC's School of Cinematic Arts, where he studied Film and Television Production. His love of filmmaking started early, making home movies with his siblings — a habit that grew into the love of storytelling that shapes his work today.

In the fall of 2025, Rhys directed one of USC's senior thesis films. His appreciation for classic cinema runs through everything he makes; whether in drama or comedy, he aims for films that entertain while staying emotionally engaging and memorable.

Outside of filmmaking, Rhys oil paints, plays sports, and has a passion for history. A few of his favorites: Apocalypse Now, Dr. Strangelove, and Hail, Caesar!
