Rhys is a recent graduate of the University of Southern California's School of Cinematic Arts, where he studied Film and Television Production. 

His love for filmmaking began at a young age. Growing up he watched many films. They inspired him to start making home movies with his siblings which developed a strong love for storytelling that continues to shape his work today.

Rhys had the privilege and opportunity to direct one of USC's senior thesis films in the Fall of 2025. His appreciation for classic films has heavily influenced his approach to storytelling. Whether working in drama or comedy, he strives to create films that entertain audiences while remaining emotionally engaging and memorable. 

Rhys also loves to oil paint, play sports and has a passion for history. Some of Rhys's favorite films include Apocalypse Now, Dr. Strangelove, and Hail, Caesar!
